Creighton’s Parade of Lights will be Sunday, December 7 with registration beginning at 5:00 at the Creighton Public Library and the parade beginning at 6:00 p.m. There will be cash prizes for 1st and 2nd place. Creighton is the place to be on Sunday, December 7.  Enjoy the Parade of Lights which begins at 6 pm and travels west on main street.   Faith United Church located at 702 Bryant Street (north of Rader Feed)  is hosting a soup supper which will run from 4 - 7 pm.  They will be serving chili, potato soup, hot dogs, cinnamon rolls, cookies and drinks for a free will offering.  After enjoying a delicious soup meal and the parade, visit Santaland.  Drive through and see the beautiful lighted display then visit Santa's Workshop & Mrs. Claus' Gingerbread House from 6-9 pm.  

Funeral services for Janice Pahl, age 93, of Bazile Mills, Nebraska will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 5, 2025, at Brockhaus Funeral Home in Creighton, Nebraska. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Bazile Mills.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Faith United Church in Creighton is hosting a Veteran's Appreciation Brunch on Tuesday, November 11 from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. at the church located at 702 Bryant St. (north of Rader’s Feed store). There will be kids games, a money raffle and quilt raffle, along with the SFA raffle of the patio set. All proceeds will go to St. Ludger School.

Services for Carol McKay, 81, of Creighton, formerly of Atkinson, will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Atkinson. Burial will be at the church cemetery.

Library Trick or Treat Update! New location at the Creighton Community Center. Trick or Treat begins at 10:00 a.m. Please enter through the main south door. It will be marked. There will be face painting and bounce houses. The Library Foundation will be selling hot dogs and tacos as a fundraiser from 10:45-1:00. Join them for a fun morning of treats, activities and lunch.

Mass of Christian Burial for Gordon “Gordie” Fulton, age 81, of Creighton, Nebraska will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 11, 2025, at St. Ludger Catholic Church in Creighton. Reverend Jeremy Hans and Reverend Marcus Knecht will be concelebrants, with burial in St. Ludger Catholic Cemetery.
