The 2 day event will kick-off with a 5K/10K Fun Run/Walk and Craft Show. The afternoon will feature Duck Races and a Money Crawl for the kids with a Car Show and Walking Tours beginning at 2:00. Friends of Center can gather anytime between 4-8pm. The evening will end with food available for purchase in the park, movies in the Center Hall and a Street Dance on Bridge Street, just North of the Courthouse. 'Church in the Park' is on Sunday morning, followed by rolls and coffee. Cow Pie Bingo will begin at Noon with the parade following at 1:00pm.

Public swimming lessons will be offered at the Creighton swimming pool. The lessons will be offered June 26th till June 30th with July 5th and July 6th being possible rain days. The Father's Day Fly-in Breakfast will be at the Creighton Municipal Airport in Creighton Nebraska. The breakfast will be going on Sunday June 18th 7:00 a.m. till 11:00 a.m. All fly-in pilots eat free and all of the proceeds made from this event are will go towards a walking trail in Bruce Park Terrace.

On Saturday, June 3rd, the booths open for vendors at 4:00 p.m. and go until 8:00 p.m. The Plainview Chamber of Commerce Ribs and Wings start at 5:30 p.m. and go until they are gone. The 114th Annual Fireman's Dance begins at 8:00 p.m. and goes until midnight.
On Sunday, June 4th, the Parade starts at The Post Cafe, Locust to 1st St. begins at 1:30 p.m. The Tractor Pull (North on 9th and follow signs) starts at 3:00 p.m. There are many other fun events to check out on this day.
