Creighton’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday, March 28 at 11:00 a.m. at the Creighton City Park. There will be 5 age groups. Meet at the Swimming Pool Parking Lot to get into designated age groups for the hunt. A grand prize will be presented to the child in each age group who finds the “Grand Prize Egg”! In case of bad weather the hunt will be held on Saturday, April 4th.
The Chamber of Commerce presents the Grown Up Golden Egg Hunt 2026, Scavenger Hunt Style, Saturday March 28 with registration at 6:00 p.m. at the swimming pool parking lot. Creighton Area Chamber of Commerce is having a Cornhole Tournament on Saturday, March 28th at the Creighton Community Center and Inn. Registration starts at 7:30 with the tournament starting at 8:00. St. Ludger and St. Ignatius Youth will be having a Waffle Bar Fundraiser on Sunday, March 29th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the St. Ludger Social Hall. The menu will include waffles and toppings, sausage, eggs, juice and coffee for a free will offering. There will also be specialty drinks. All proceeds will go towards the seven youth from the parishes who will be attending the Steubenville Youth Conference in Springfield, MO on July 17-19.

A benefit for Cory Frisch, AKA as “Herman”, will be held on Saturday, April 4 at the Creighton Community Center with a meal being served from 6-7 pm for a free will donation, followed by Euchre, Pitch, and Carbles beginning at 7:00. Gifts of JOY is a holiday outreach program started in 1980. It is sponsored by Creighton's Ministerial Association along with local churches and organizations with a goal to reach out to the community of Creighton NE and families with children in the Creighton public school system.

Choose a tag or two and purchase a gift or clothing for a child.
Tags are on trees at Gragerts and Avera Hospital. Wrapped gifts are due at Gragerts or the Hospital no later than December 15 for distribution to the families on December 18.
Food collection boxes are located at Gragert's Grocery, Avera Hospital and Dollar General. Each box has a list of suggested food items.
Cash donations are greatly appreciated to offset the cost of the food boxes, fruit and gift certificates. Donations can be dropped off at Midwest Bank, Creighton.
The Goodwill truck will be in town from December 8-16, conveniently located near the city shop at 603 Redick Ave. This is a great opportunity to donate your gently used items and support a good cause.
