Trail Life is a Christian alternative to Scouting America. A Troop will be forming in Creighton and is chartered by and a ministry of Community of Believers Church in Creighton. They will meet at Bruce Park on Monday, September 15 at 6:30 p.m. for their introductory meeting to Trail Life activities. In case of bad weather they will meet at the Community Center. Terry O. Coutts, age 81, of Santee, Nebraska formerly of Creighton, Nebraska, died Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at University of Nebraska Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska, following a stroke. A celebration of life for Terry will be held on August 3, 2025, from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Creighton Community Golf Course in the clubhouse. Lunch will be served throughout that time.
A eulogy will be presented at 1:00 p.m. by Matt Fischer of Center, Nebraska.
All who knew Terry throughout his lifetime are encouraged to come and share in fellowship with his children.

This free event provides a hands-on opportunity to observe and discuss pasture management strategies in a working livestock system. The annual Memorial Day program will be held at Creighton Community School at 10am on Monday, May 26th. For any community choir members that would like to sing at the Memorial Day program, practice will be at 9am on the 26th with program to follow at 10am.
The VFW will be be putting flags up at the Cemetery on May 21st at 5pm and taking them down on the 28th at 5pm. Any help would be appreciated.
