The Par 3 Moonlight Four Person Scramble Golf Tournament will be held August 4th at the Plainview country club. A backwards par tournament will start at 6:30. Head over there to eat and have a drink to get ready for the moonlight portion of the tournament. The Moonlight Par 3 Tournament will start at approximately 9:30. Bring flash lights and glow balls which will also be available at the club. Remember to wear crazy glow hats, shirts, bracelets, and anything else that glows.
Best of the Best 4 person golf scramble will be on Saturday, July 29 at the Plainview Country Club. A steak dinner and lunch is included with the $500 entry fee. The tournament is limited to the first 18 teams. With the 1st place prize being $4,000. There will also be a calcutta. The Plainview Country Clubs number is 402-582-3445.
The Knox County Supervisors will meet on July 27th at 9:30 a.m. at the supervisor's room in the Knox County Courthouse. The Knox County Board of Equalization will also meet at 10:00 a.m. in the same area.
- The Landlord/Tenant Cash Lease workshop will be offered on July 26, 2017 at the Bloomfield Community Center in Bloomfield, NE from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 pm. The workshop is designed to help landlords and tenants put together a lease that is right for both parties involved and help maintain positive farm leasing relationships.

Faith, Hope & Love fellowship in Creighton Invites Children to Rome: Paul and the Underground Church
A vacation bible school event called Rome: Paul and the Underground Church will be hosted at Faith, Hope & Love Fellowship from Monday, July 24 to Friday, July 28. Families step back in time at Rome, exploring the life of the apostle Paul and the underground church. Children ages 4 years old through those who have completed 6th grade will participate in a memorable Bible-times marketplace, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, dig in to Roman eats, visit Paul while he’s under house arrest, and collect Bible Memory Makers to remind them of God’s Word. Each day concludes at Extollo—a time of upbeat worship that gets everyone involved.

The Brunswick Public Library will be hosting the Henry Doorly Zoo on July 19th at 12:30 p.m. in the Bruswick Auditorium. The zoo is bringing three animals along with trained zookeepers to give a presentation and answer questions. All are welcome!
