Mass of Christian Burial for Willard "Bill" Ayers, age 95, of Winnetoon, Nebraska will be on Monday, August 31, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Verdigre, Nebraska. Reverend Marcus Knecht will be celebrant. Burial will be in St. Ludger Catholic Cemetery in Creighton, Nebraska, followed by a luncheon at St. Ludger Parish Hall in Creighton.

Visitation will be Sunday, August 30, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Brockhaus Funeral Home in Creighton, with a 7:00 p.m. Wake Service.

Bill died Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at Alpine Village in Verdigre, Nebraska.
