A Celebration of Life for Lyle L. Thelen, age 81, of Creighton, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 18, at Christ Lutheran Church in Bazile Mills with the Rev. Justin Hildebrand officiating. Inurnment will take place at the church cemetery. Stonacek Memorial Chapel in Pierce is in charge of the arrangements.

Lyle Thelen died Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at Avera Creighton Care Center in Creighton.
