Winnetoon, Nebraska’s 8th annual BBQ Celebration is Saturday, August 3rd , with a full schedule of events. There’s a Car Show from 2:00 to 4:00PM with a $1000 Added Purse, and the Winnetoon Mall has their sidewalk sales throughout the day. The Kiddie Parade starts at 4:30pm, with registration at 4:00PM, and Cash Prizes awarded to the top five parade entries. Bounce houses and horse drawn wagon rides start at 5:00PM, and the big BBQ Meal will be served on main street at 5:00PM for a free-will donation, with to-go orders available, and the Bethesda Mini Camp will be selling Root Beer Floats. Enjoy live music featuring Kimberly Meyer from 5:00 to 7:00PM, followed by the Prairie Thunder Band at the Street Dance and Beer Garden from 7:00PM to Midnight.
