Winnetoon, Nebraska’s BBQ Celebration will be Saturday, August 5th, with a full schedule of events for the whole family.  The day starts out with the Car Show from 2:00 to 4:00PM, followed by the Kiddie Parade at 4:30pm, with this year’s theme of “Summer Fun”.  Registration for the Kiddie Parade is at 4:00PM or you can pre-register by calling 402-358-0320.  Kiddie Parade winners will receive $250 for first place, $200 for 2nd, $150 for 3rd, and $100 each to 4th and 5th place winners, with all participants receiving a prize.  The big BBQ Meal will be served on main street from 5:00 to 8:00PM for a free-will donation, with to-go orders available.  Cool off with a root beer float starting at 5:00PM, with proceeds going to Bethesda Mini Camp.  Enjoy live music featuring Kimberly Meyer from 5:00 to 7:00PM, and round out the night with the Prairie Thunder Band at the Street Dance and Beer Garden from 7:00PM to Midnight.   Be sure to buy your raffle tickets by stopping by Elaine’s Tavern or by calling 402-847-3321 or 402-360-4133 now through the drawing at 10:00PM during the celebration for your chance to win one of 10 coolers with 10 cool prizes totaling $10,000.00 with first prize of $5000.00 or a chance at the Kid’s Go-Cart.  For more information, check out “Winnetoon BBQ” on Facebook.  Load up the family and come on over to the World’s Only Winnetoon, Nebraska August 5th, for the BBQ Celebration.
