There will be an informational town hall meeting on Monday, Oct 28th at 6:30pm at the Walter Larsen Senior Center. Several communities that utilize LB840 will present and answer questions regarding how the program has helped their communities. LB 840 authorizes incorporated cities and villages to collect and appropriate local tax dollars—including sales and/or property tax, if approved by the local voters—for economic development purposes.
