Military Honors will be provided by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1151, American Legion Post 74, and Marine Corp Honor Guard.

Creighton City Wide Cleanup will be held beginning Tuesday, May 7 for the south side of Main Street and Thursday, May 9 for the north side of town. Residents are asked to have their items on the curbs by 8 a.m. Appliances which contain freon must have it safely removed before pickup. Electronic items, chemicals, construction materials, and liquid paint, will also not be picked up.
The Bloomfield Community Club invites you to a Spring Tea. This fundraiser for the Bloomfield Community Club will be on May 5th at 3pm. It will take place at The Hive in Bloomfield. Enjoy a 3-course tea with entertainment between courses. Tickets are $15 and there is a limited number of tickets. The veterans of Creighton VFW Post 1151 will host their semi-annual Chicken Feed on Monday, April 15th from 5 - 7 pm for a free will donation. Proceeds will help Post 1151 support: VFW National Childrens Home, Voice of Democracy essay contest, Norfolk Veterans Home, Avenue of Flags, Funeral Honor Guard, Veterans Medical Support Programs, Hospital Equipment Lending Locker, Gifts of Joy and Santaland, Used Flag Disposal. Takeout and delivery service is offered.
